“Syrma” café-snack bar, in Kamares, besides its name that tells of what it used to be (a place where boats are dragged off water in the wintertime), has kept to its simplicity and sparse decor, a Cycladic trait.

Start with an ample breakfast, on the sandy beach, under huge tamarisks, and enjoy your coffee and swim. The staff and the owners are friendly and polite. That’s what islanders are anyway.

Should you get hungry, no need to go elsewhere, for tasteful, scrumptious quick snacks, salads and daily dishes will fill you up!

The evening is upon you; here again, for a drink and fine music. It can’t get more by-the-sea enjoyable…
