Faros

Faros is what one would call a fishing village. A small settlement with a mini market and two or three places to eat and drink. It is well protected and that’s why it was the second port of the island, knowing great glories in the distant past! Today it is ideal for families because it is very cozy, without waves and dangers, with sand in and out of the sea and cool crystal clear waters. Wherever you sit, on the sand or in a shop, you have full control of the area  J

To the left of the bay there are always some boats and if you go early in the morning you will see fishermen cleaning nets and sorting out the catch of the day.

To the right of the bay, where the path starts – with two entrances – to the next small beach, you might be able to make out some very large stones, the remains of an ancient tower that was there in ancient times.
